Company History
Opened in 2006, HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Petersburg is a 64-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital that offers comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation services designed to return patients to leading active and independent lives.
Our hospital provides a wide range of physical rehabilitation services, a vast network of highly skilled, private practice physicians and HealthSouth therapists and nurses, and the most innovative equipment and rehabilitation technology, ensuring that all patients have access to the highest quality care. Designed with our patient’s care in mind, HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Petersburg offers 38 semi-private and 26 private rooms with amenities like televisions, phones, free wi-fi, as well as bariatric equipped rooms for patients who may benefit.
In addition to caring for general rehabilitation diagnoses such as orthopedics, cardiac, pulmonary, amputee, arthritis and neurological conditions, HealthSouth Petersburg has a specialized inpatient program for stroke.
Our 70,000 square foot hospital (which includes a 9,000 square foot therapy gym) serves patients throughout central Virginia and beyond. We provide quality inpatient rehab to patients as far north as Richmond, across the Carolina border, as far east as Norfolk, and west to Farmville. We are located at 95 Medical Park Boulevard, Petersburg, Virginia.
