Prince William Hospital, located in Manassas, VA, is a 170-bed, not-for-profit community hospital providing full service healthcare to the communities in Prince William County. In addition to our Manassas campus, we have begun construction on a new community hospital located in Haymarket, VA. This facility is scheduled to open in early 2014.

We are currently seeking candidates for the following position at our Manassas Campus:

Senior Director, Nursing

This is a newly created position responsible for leading the nursing division at our Manassas campus. The Senior Director of Nursing will provide leadership in developing and implementing Prince William Hospital’s plan for providing patient care consistent with the health system’s mission, vision, values, and strategic plan. This position will have accountability for acute care services, women’s & children’s services, behavioral health services, surgical services. and emergency services.

Qualified candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school and posses a RN license in the Commonwealth of Virginia. A Master’s degree is required for this position. If the Master’s degree is not in Nursing, then a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is also required. This position requires 3-5 years of healthcare administration/nursing leadership experience. Experience working in a large healthcare system setting where matrix reporting and inter-facility collaboration preferred. Candidates must have the ability to participate in developing and implementing organizational strategies to address opportunities to improve organizational performance.
