Clinic Manager (CM) is a clinical and business leader with management responsibility for assigned clinics. Clinic Manager is responsible for the overall operations in the clinic(s) with the priorities of developing and coaching providers and support staff for career growth and high performance, supervising colleagues to ensure quality care and patient engagement metrics are achieved, and driving financial results and profitability. The Clinic Manager will focus on assessing educational/training needs and practice development while committing to work in the clinics regularly as a staff Provider. The Clinic Manager is an experienced clinical leader with exceptional communication and management skills who is committed to the highest level of patient care and business success.
Education, training, experience:
Valid Advanced Practice State License issued by the State Board of Nursing.
Valid accreditation from the AANP or ANCC as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Valid Prescriptive Authority (per state practice requirements).
Meet and maintain all legal requirements per state and national statutes to practice within state (for your market) as a family nurse practitioner.
Current CPR Certification.
Prefer 2 years managerial experience preferred (Charge Nurse in Hospital setting, Charge Nurse in Outpatient setting, ER/Urgent Care Supervisor preferred).
Minimum 2 years of clinical practice as an FNP, preferably in acute setting, ER, Urgent Care, member of QA committee, Infection Control committee preferred.
Member of national and local NP associations, organizations, and committees.
Professional, friendly, a good listener.
Demonstrates high level of confidence in decision making.
Possess superior interpersonal skills in dealing with all colleagues of the organization.
Ability to fully utilize the TCHS electronic medical record and information systems that will allow efficient communication and documentation.
Knowledgeable about billing and coding.
Be a good role model for a “culture of health” and advocate for an environment focused on health and wellness.
Knowledge operating in a Joint Commission accredited environment.
Required experience in Microsoft office suite as well as web-based applications.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task under tight timelines.
Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
