Utilization Review Nurse
MD Anderson is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator (Utilization Review Nurse) in their Woodlands Regional Care Center located in The Woodlands, TX. Other positions are available in the Texas Medical Center location in Houston, Texas.

The Primary responsibilities of the Patient Access Coordinator is to facilitate patient medical and financial clearance using oncology nursing knowledge, clinical judgment, and communication skills to assist in resolving difficulties surrounding patient access and authorization of services.
Education, training, experience:
Qualified candidates will have graduated from an accredited school of nursing and will hold a current State of Texas Professional Nursing License (RN). Two years’ experience in clinical nursing is required. Two years’ experience in utilization review with external payors within a hospital or insurance setting is preferred.
