VCU health System's Surgery Trauma Department is recruiting for non-benefited Care Partner positions.

Job Requirements
Education, training, experience:
Applicant Qualifications include the following:

Education/training REQUIRED:

Completion of state recognized CNA program; OR
Completion of first semester junior year in a BSN program dependent upon school curriculum. VCU/MCV BSN students: completion of sophomore year, Nursing 201, 202, 261. Associate Degree and Diploma programs: completion of first year or a minimum of two semesters of basic nursing courses. Specialty areas e.g. pediatrics, women`s health, psychiatry may require completion of a clinical rotation in that area; OR
Completion of EMT program; OR
Completion of medical assistant program

Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment including CPR, etc:

AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent

Level and type of experience PREFERRED:

Acute care experience as a nursing assistant or aide experience

Shift REQUIRED:

Evening/Night shifts required
